This scenario is comparable with the standard PDF export that SAP offers. In addition, though, it offers several interesting customisation options, which allow you to fulfil business requirements exactly:

• WYSIWYG export of the dashboard
• define page size, format and borders
• hide unwanted widgets from the export
• rearrange widgets with an Export Template definition
• export all contents of a table with repeating headers, keeping the styles from the dashboard
• default export automatically fits the table on the PDF page width
• option to choose a split by number of columns / rows or dimension value change
• freely define headers & footers using HTML, CSS and placeholders for page numbers, filters or entire widgets

2) High Quality document export

Imagine your users could receive a complete document when exporting to PDF, not only a simple „one pager“. A document with a beautiful title page, a table of contents, perfectly arranged headers, footers and texts. Just perfect for external communication, supplier fact sheets or information brochures to bring with you in meetings with your most valuable customers.

With biExport it is as simple as creating a new Word document:

• use your corporate design template as a start in Microsoft Word or Apple’s Pages
• design the title page, table of contents, headers, footers, chapter structure and static texts according to the requirements
• add placeholders for the dynamic content from your dashboard(s)
• save the document as DOC, DOCX, DOT or DOTM format
• upload the document via biExport Template Manager
• use the document for the PDF export

biExport replaces the placeholders in the document with widgets and information from your dashboard and returns the document in PDF format.
